Marketing & Design Services
Work With Me
You like this site. I can help with yours.
I designed, wrote, and built this site myself, and I've spent 25+ years in marketing. If you need a plan, a cleaner website, or pattern files that print right, tell me what you're working on. I'll send a proposal with clear deliverables and a fixed fee.
Tell Me About Your ProjectShopify and websites
Your website should make it easy for people to understand what you sell and buy it. Mine is proof I can do that. I can help you get yours organized and easier to shop.
- Shopify site reviews with a prioritized list of fixes.
- Navigation, collection, and product page cleanup.
- Page updates, layout improvements, and copy.
- Email layouts, launch graphics, and reusable promotional templates.
- Social media graphics using your existing branding.
I'm a Shopify Partner, so I work through Shopify's collaborator access on a copy of your theme. Nothing changes on your live site until you approve it, and you can remove my access anytime.
Website projects on other platforms are reviewed before quoting so I can confirm what I can deliver.
Marketing and branding
You don't need another list of things you should be doing. You need a plan that makes sense for your business, your customers, and the time you actually have.
- Marketing strategies and practical action plans.
- Product launch plans and promotional copy.
- Welcome, launch, post-purchase, and re-engagement email series.
- Brand positioning, messaging, and voice guidance.
- Personal branding and professional bios.
- Fabric collection launch content, including project sheets, lookbooks, and email campaigns.
Whether you need a fresh perspective on one challenge or help putting a campaign together, I can shape the project around your priorities.
Basic logo projects may also be available by request.
Pattern files and production
I design and sell my own bag patterns, so I know what testers catch and what customers email you about. I can turn your finished pattern into clean, clearly labeled files.
- Digitizing existing paper pattern pieces.
- Preparing tiled PDF files for Letter and A4 printing.
- Creating SVG cutting files.
- Preparing projector and copy-shop files.
- Instruction layout and formatting for PDF and print.
I'll review your source files and confirm the pieces, sizes, labels, and formats before quoting.
This service starts from your finished pattern. Grading, technical editing, and sewing tests aren't included.

Any partner involvement and associated costs will be included in your proposal or approved before the scope changes.
The process
How it works
Tell me about your project
Share what you need, what you already have, and your preferred timing. You can include a budget if you have one in mind.
Review your proposal
I'll confirm whether the project is a fit and provide a custom proposal outlining the deliverables, included revisions, timeline, and fixed project fee.
Reserve your project
Work begins once the agreement is signed, the 50% deposit is paid, and I have the materials needed to get started.
Review and receive your work
You'll review drafts or proofs and provide feedback within the agreed scope. The remaining 50% is due before final files are delivered or completed website changes are published.
Additional work is quoted separately and requires your written approval before I proceed.
Proof
Selected work
This site is the best example. I designed, wrote, and built all of it, including Your Workroom, a free calculator suite for bag makers.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
How much does a project cost?
Every project is quoted individually based on the work involved. You'll receive a fixed project fee before committing. If you have a budget in mind, share it so I can see what scope is practical.
Can I hire you for a small project?
Yes. You can inquire about one email series, a file conversion, a page update, or another focused project. You don't need to commit to a larger package.
Do you only work with sewing businesses?
No. I work with businesses and individuals in any industry. Sewing and craft businesses just get someone who already speaks their language.
Will you need my Shopify password?
No. You'll approve a collaborator request from my Shopify Partner account, and you can remove my access anytime.
Do you set up the emails as well as write them?
Email strategy and copy can be quoted on their own. Layout and platform setup may also be available and will be listed separately in your proposal.
What do you need to digitize my pattern?
I'll need your finalized pattern pieces, accurate measurements or a scale reference, and the labels, sizes, and output formats you want. I'll review your materials before confirming the scope and fee.
What if I need changes beyond the original project?
I'll quote the additional work and get your written approval before starting. Your agreement will specify the revisions included in the original fee.
